I am pleased to report that all is right with the world once more. For a while there, if felt like Mustang drivers were losing their dominance over the stupid driving industry, but a new video proves that no one does it like the Mustang.

The video that was shared on Reddit is said to take place in Florida, and opens on a shot of a police officer standing on a multi-lane road near an intersection. The camera then pans left and shrieking tires alert us to the incoming danger.

It’s not quite clear what the Mustang’s driver was doing – whether it was turning left at the intersection, or simply proving that a Ford doesn’t need the assistance of a corner to get all out of shape – but one way or another, it becomes clear that they are no longer in control.

The Mustang starts swinging right, the driver overcorrects, and sends it swinging left. The car must have been traveling at a quite a pace as it closes with the car ahead of it quite quickly, only missing its rear bumper by inches.

Unfortunately for the drivers quietly minding their own business, waiting at a light, and attempting to go about their days traveling in the opposite direction, the Mustang driver’s overcorrection sends the car flying into them.

As is spins slowly around, the out-of-control car hits a curb dividing traffic, hops it, and smacks into an SUV. The video cuts before the damage done to the black crossover can be seen, but the Mustang appears to have lost most of its momentum by the time the collision occurred.

That suggests, fortunately, that the consequences of the Mustang driver’s stupidity were limited. The police officer who was present for the whole thing should also help give the crossover driver’s insurance statement iron-clad status.
