Here’s The First Ford Mustang Crash At A Cars And Coffee In 2023 | Carscoops

Leaving a car meet in a vehicle like a Ford Mustang should be no more difficult than exiting the parking lot of a supermarket on a lazy Sunday afternoon. However, Mustang owners routinely make a mess out of the simple process and at the recent Cars and Coffee Southlake event in Texas, it happened once again.
YouTuber Official_Stro attended the event and filmed dozens of drivers leaving the meet. Many pinned the throttles of their high-performance cars as they left while others kicked out the tails of their vehicles and put on a drifty display for those in attendance. However, things got downright dangerous when a white Ford Mustang pulled up to the exit and the driver stamped on the throttle.

The rear-end of the Mustang immediately kicks out and the driver manages to hold the slide longer than most other Mustang owners would have been able to. However, the driver overcorrected after the first slide, prompting the car to violently fishtail to the left and despite the owner’s best attempts to control it, it ends up slamming into a curb.
Fortunately for the driver, the contact made with the curb wasn’t too severe but was still probably strong enough to bend the passenger’s side rear wheel and potentially damage some of the suspension components.
Things could have been much worse for the Mustang driver and the spectators. Just two weeks ago, another incident occurred at the Cars and Coffee Southlake event when the driver of a Chevrolet Corvette lost control and ran into the crowd, injuring three people.
