Police are now looking for the man who was behind the wheel of the 1500 TRX truck that was abandoned at the scene

The occupants of a home in Granada Hills, Los Angeles were fortunate to avoid injury when a Ram 1500 TRX crashed through their garage at 8:23 p.m. on December 24.
The terrifying crash occurred on the 11300 block of Woodley Avenue and was captured on the property’s security camera. In the video, the driver of the powerful pickup truck can be heard accelerating along the road sitting directly across from the house.
As the sound of the truck’s 6.2-liter supercharged V8 gets louder, it comes into view and blasts through the intersection, jumps the curb, and speeds along the lawn before smashing into the garage at truly frightening speeds.

Images shared online by the Los Angeles Daily News show that the truck was left with severe damage after crashing through the house’s garage. The front end is mangled and filled with scraps and scratches. We can also see that the passenger’s side front wheel and suspension components have been ripped out of place.
Despite the severity of the crash, the driver of the TRX fled the scene before authorities were alerted to the crash at 9:06 p.m. Police were still searching for the unidentified driver as of December 29, Road & Track reports.

It is unclear how much damage was done to the home but we suspect it was pretty severe given how fast the TRX was traveling at the time of impact.
